香港中文大学中国研究服务中心及亚太汉学中心将于2012年1月4日至7日举办第八届“当代中国”研讨班，特诚挚邀请您拨冗参加！
二十世纪六十年代以来，优秀的西方中国研究专家中，不少都曾在中国研究服务中心访问，从事文献研究，撰写博士论文。尔后大陆和来自不同国家、不同学科的研究生利用中心丰富的数据收藏，彼此交流，形成最富启发性的研究环境。
“当代中国”研讨班旨在促进当代中国研究，为中国研究的年青学者宣讲论文及研讨提供讲坛，促使他们切磋学艺，建立中国研究的国际性交流。
我们邀请有成就的中国研究学者，为年青的博士生展示中国研究的前沿，拓展其视野，并为他们的论文做点评。有关历届研讨班的内容，敬请浏览gsoc.usc.cuhk.edu.hk。

The Universities Service Centre for China Studies of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and CUHK-Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation Asia-Pacific Centre for Chinese Studies will organize the Eighth Annual Graduate Seminar on China (GSOC), to be held on campus from January 4 to 7, 2012. You are very welcomed to this upcoming event.
Since the early 1960s, scholars in the China studies field have been visiting the Universities Service Centre to conduct their research. The rich library collection and liberal platform for intellectual exchange make the Centre a stimulating place to work for scholars from around the world.
The objectives of the Graduate Seminar on China are to provide a forum where young scholars can present their research papers, compare research notes, and establish international contacts.
We invite senior scholars to share their research and lead the young counterparts who are just entering the field of contemporary China studies. The purpose is to encourage exchanges among established and young scholars, thus enhancing their capabilities and broadening their horizons.
