Andrew Gamble 鏁欐巿绠�粙锛�/SPAN>
Andrew Gamble joined the University of Sheffield in 1973 and was appointed to a Chair in 1986. He has been Chairman of the Department, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, and Pro Vice-Chancellor. He read economics at Cambridge for his first degree, then political theory at Durham before returning to Cambridge for his PhD in social and political sciences. He is a founder member and former Director of the Political Economy Research Centre (PERC) and joint editor of New Political Economy and The Political Quarterly. He is a Fellow of the British Academy and the Academy of Social Sciences, and currently holds a Major Research Fellowship from the Leverhulme Trust. He is the sole author of seven books, co-author of three, co-editor of sixteen, and author of fifty five academic journal articles and seventy book chapters.
