Nicolaas Groenewold is an associate professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Western Australia. He was the chair of Economics Discipline at UWA between 2006-2007. Since 2008 he is a member of Ethnic Committee of Business School at UWA. His main research interests include macro-economics, regional economics, China and financial economics. He is on the board of editors of Economic Record since 2003, a referee for Applied Economics, International Economics Journal, Review of Economics and Statistics and Australian journal of Regional Studies etc.
