主讲人简介：
William Pyle，美国明德学院经济学教授，高等经济学院国际中心研究员，芬兰银行经济研究所访问学者。曾获哈弗学院历史专业学士学位，印第安纳大学俄罗斯和东欧研究硕士学位，杜克大学经济学博士学位，2014年被授予俄罗斯国家奖。
主要学术论文有《A ‘de Soto effect’ in industry? evidence from the Russian Federation》、《The composition and interests of business lobbies: testing Olson’s hypothesis of the ‘encompassing organization》、《Deposit insurance, banking crises and market discipline: evidence from a natural experiment on deposit flows and rates》等，近期学术研究致力于Land rights, industry and the post-socialist cityscape、The political roots of intermediated lobbying等。
