徐斯勤教授：美国科罗拉多州丹佛大学国际研究学院博士，现任国立台湾大学社会科学院政治学系系主任；中国政治学会(Chinese Association of Political Science)理事；台湾政治学会(Taiwan Political Science Association)理事；以及担任Issues & Studies,《政治学报》等多种学术期刊编委。主要研究：比较政治（中国大陆政经分析）、政治经济学、国际关系学（亚太地区经济合作与安全议题）等。其代表作包括：“Assessing the Role of the TRA in Deterring Cross-Strait Economic Coercion in the Long Run,” Issues & Studies (2010)；“Reappraising the Debate and Practice of U.S. Strategic Ambiguity/Clarity in Cross-Strait Relations,” The Pacific Review (2010)；“Between Identity Quest and Risk Aversion: Lessons from the Chen Shui-bian Presidency for Maintaining Cross-Strait Stability,” Journal of Contemporary China (2010)；《民主國家在世界大戰後重建和平之政策的比較分析：對於Peacemaking by Democracies的書評》，《台灣民主季刊》（2005）；《加入世貿組織與兩岸關係的初步回顧與前瞻》，《中國事務季刊（China Affairs Quarterly）》（2002）等。
