主讲人简介：
Michael WEBBER,Professor Emeritus in the School of Geography at the University of Melbourne, Australia. He is a graduate of the University of Cambridge and of the Australian National University, and has previously held positions at the Australian National University, McMaster University in Canada and the University of Melbourne. He has held visiting positions at the University of Cincinnati,University of Sydney, University of California at Los Angeles and Monash University. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia and a winner of the Griffith Taylor Medal of the Institute of Australian Geographers.
Michael is an economic geographer. For the past fifteen years he has been workingon three issues in China: the transformation of stated-owned enterprises and its implications for workers; the emergence of capitalism in rural China; and the water management. He has published over 100 academic papers and 15 books. His most recent book is Making Capitalism in Rural China (Cheltenham UK: Elgar, 2012 )
