Martin Skitmore, Professor in the School of Civil Engineering and Built Environment锛�/span>Queensland University of Technology, Australia. He graduated from University of Salford, receiving his master’s degree and PhD in there. Besides, he held a concurrent post as a visiting professor of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Department of Building and Real Estate in Hong Kong, University Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in Malaysia and University of Talca in Chile, at a same time, taking the role as a member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Charted Institute of Building (CIOB) and International Council for Building Research Studies and Documentation (CIB).
Prof. Skitmore is a well-known international expert in construction management. His research interests include construction management, quantitative analysis and future forecasting. Up to now, he has published more than 100 papers on SSCI / SCI, 4362 times cited and H-index as high as 35.
