2018年6月23日至27日，国际食品与农商管理学会（International Food and Agribusiness Management Association, IFAMA）2018年会在阿根廷布宜诺斯艾利斯召开。大会主题为 “Disruptive Innovations: better business, management, science, government”。浙江大学公共管理学院卫龙宝教授以及刘琦、俞书傲、林爽、林俊英、王珊、王文亭、吴枢、叶夏青、金藏玉、王煜、杨之颖、袁饶共12位研究生参加了本次会议。
作为“Regional and Value Chain Opportunities and Challenges”2018 IFAMA主题论坛主席之一，卫龙宝主持了27日下午题为“E-commerce Impact on Agribusiness”的专场论坛，并发表了“The Cross-regional Agricultural Mechanization Services and Sharing Agriculture in China”的主旨演讲。他从中国农机跨区作业发展分析出发引出了方兴未艾的共享农业，指出共享经济所特有的资源分散化与服务规模化的特点，与中国小农经济发展模式不谋而合，并从农机、平台、企业、政府以及新零售五大维度，结合案例探讨了共享农业的发展前景，提出了在共享经济下中国农业现代化的解决之道。主旨演讲引发了参会代表的浓厚兴趣与积极讨论。
作为IFAMA理事，卫龙宝还出席了26日晚上举行的IFAMA2018夏季理事会议。理事会议在完成了常规议程之后，还专门对2019年IFAMA杭州会议和2020年IFAMA鹿特丹会议的相关事宜进行了讨论与表决。
在学术研讨会上，12位研究生分别汇报了自己的论文，与国际学者深入探讨了农商和食品领域的相关研究问题，得到了与会同行的一致好评。论文题目如下：

国际食品与农商管理学会（International Food and Agribusiness Management Association, IFAMA）成立于1990年，是全球最有影响力的农商管理（Agribusiness）方面的国际学术组织，拥有国际顶级学术刊物《国际食品与农商管理评论》（The International Food and Agribusiness Management Review, IFAMR)，致力于为会员提供多方位的信息共享、知识增进、研讨与辩论、社会网络及职业发展服务。学会目前在全球50多个国家拥有700多个会员，包括全球食品供应链的领先企业管理者、大学研究者和教育者、大学学生、公共及私营机构的研究人员、国际政策制定者、非政府组织、消费者团体等。IFAMA第一届年会自1991年在美国波士顿召开以来，至今已经举办了28届。从近几年论坛主题来看，IFAMA年会注重迎接农商领域的挑战、探寻解决方案、引领全球农商领域的飞跃与发展。
