Asia Europe Journal (AEJ) is an academic journal specializing in area studies with a unique focus on Asia-Europe relations, published by Springer. Prof. Wei Shen from the School of Public Affairs at Zhejiang University serves as the Editor-in-Chief. It is the only journal in the world dedicated to this specific field and is indexed in the SSCI. Established in 2003 and based on the ASEM framework—which includes 51 partner countries across both continents—AEJ holds significant global influence. Published quarterly (4 issues per year), the journal focuses on the challenges and developments facing Asia and Europe.
