Short Bio
Dr. Chen graduated and got her Bachelor’s (with honor degree) and Master’s degrees from Nanjing University in 1999 and 2003 respectively. She got her PhD degree from Kent State University, OH in the department of political science in 2012. She is currently an assistant professor in Zhejiang University.
Dr. Chen research areas include comparative politics, Sino-American relations, media politics, local politics and healthcare policy in China. She has published both in English and Chinese in academic journals. She is currently teaching three courses for undergraduates: Methodology of Political Science, Comparative Political System and Comparative Politics.
