Short Bio
Dr. Kai Fang got his doctoral degree from Leiden University and is currently working as a Researcher in the School of Public Affairs, Zhejiang University, as well as a guest researcher in CML, Leiden University. Research is focused on the theoretical and methodological aspects of environmental management and ecological economics with implications for sustainable development. Over the past few years, He has been the author of two books and over 40 articles in peer-reviewed journals, many of which have been included in SCI and/or SSCI with high impact factors, such as those for Frontiers in Ecology and the Environment (IF=8.412) and Environmental Science & Technology (IF=5.481). His publications have been cited by Science and many other international journals for hundreds of times. He has been in charge of several research projects funded by China Scholarship Council, Zhejiang Province and Zhejiang University. He has also taken part in numbers of research organizations and projects, such as the International Society for Industrial Ecology and the National Key Patented Project. He is now member of the editorial board of two international journals, and reviewer of the IPCC Report and a dozen of SCI/SSCI journals. He has been invited to give presentations in many international and national conferences.
