JI Chen

Dr. Ji Chen (China, 1984) is an assistant professor on Agricultural Economics & Management at School of Management, Zhejiang University. She received her bachelor degree and Master degree from the School of Economics and Management, Nanjing  Agricultural University respectively in 2006 and in 2008. She successfully achieved her Ph.D degree on Agricultural Economics Management in Polytechnic University of Spain in 2012, and she did part time of her Ph.D in Wageningen University, theNetherlandsin 2010. She served as an assistant professor in department of agricultural economics and management in Michigan State University, the U.S.A, through 2012 to 2013.

Her research interests cover food supply chain management and business management in food and agribusiness companies, with a special interest on governance structure in food supply chains. Her paper has been published in International Food and Agribusiness Management Review, and she has work published in book chapters. She has presented her work at various international conferences and seminars, such as IFAMA (International Food and Agribusiness Management Association), International European Forum on System Dynamics and Innovations in Food Networks, and Wageningen International Conference on China Network Management and so on.
