Academic Appointments
Ruijun Zhong is an assistant professor of the Department of Urban Development and Management at the School of Public Affairs, Zhejiang University. He received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from Tsinghua University, a master in economics from Xiamen University, a bachelor in Engineering from Zhejiang University.
His research focuses on urban development, housing policy, high-tech industry park development, and the relationship between university and urban development. His research papers were published in referred journals such as Urban Geography, China City Planning Review, Journal of Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management, and Nankai Economics Review etc.
His research funding came from National Science Foundation, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou Municipal Government, Zhejiang Maritime Safety Administration, Yuhang District Government of Hangzhou, Nanjing Maqun Science Park etc.
He was a visiting student of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology from September to December 2002, and a visiting scholar of Indiana University, Bloomington from September 2015 to September 2016.
