Short Bio
Dr. Sheng Zheng is a researcher and lecturer in Zhejiang University. He completed a Ph.D. in Cartography and Geographic Information System at Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2015. He studied as a visiting student at Max Planck Institute for Chemistry, Germany for one year. He works on land use and environment effects, and he is the principal investigator of the project “Research on spatiotemporal changes and determining factors of carbon footprint based on energy consumption of Zhejiang province”. He also works on environmental health, specifically, the PM2.5 estimation and its impact on human health. These research findings were published in the Journal “Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics”, “Science of the Total Environment”, “Atmospheric Research”, and “China Land Sciences”.
