Thomas S. Axworthy, Secretary General of InterAction Council visited School of Public Affairs on September 26, 2018. It was his first time visited our school. Dean Yu Jianxing, Vice Dean Zhang Weiwen and Ms Zhang Shilei welcomed Prof. Thomas and had a discussion of an international conference planned in 2019.
Additionally, Dr. Cui Shunji and Dr. Zhou Yunheng also had an academic free chat with Prof. Thomas.
In the afternoon, Prof. Thomas gave a speech titled “The Polar Silk Road: China’s Ambition to become an Arctic Great Power”.
