On May 28, 2021, 2021 China Common Prosperity Index Model was released. Ren Shaobo, Secretary of the Party Committee of Zhejiang University, attended the press conference, and Shao Qing, first-class inspector of Zhejiang Federation of social science circles, attended the press conference and delivered a speech. Professor Yu Jianxing, School of Public Affairs, Zhejiang University and the Institute of Social Governance, Zhejiang University, introduced and interpreted the China Common Prosperity Index Model . The index model is jointly released by the Institute of Social Governance of Zhejiang University, School of Public Affairs, National Institution Research Institute and Important Window Research Institute of Zhejiang Business and Technology University, covering three dimensions of development, sharing and Sustainability (first level indicators). Realizing common prosperity is the essential requirement of socialism. The Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China emphasizes solid promotion of common prosperity. When describing the long-term goal of basically realizing socialist modernization by 2035, it clearly puts forward that all people will make more obvious substantive progress in common prosperity. Zhejiang's urban-rural and regional balanced development and affluence index are in the forefront of China, which has the foundation and conditions to explore a provincial common prosperity Road. The national fourteenth five-year plan clearly gives Zhejiang a major task of high-quality development and construction of common prosperity demonstration zone. To clarify the connotation and characteristics of common prosperity and build a set of scientific evaluation index system of common prosperity is the basis of promoting common prosperity with high quality.
