The Department of Land Management has gradually formed a complete educational system, with multi-channels and multi-levels including programs for bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees. The land Resource management discipline has been awarded as key subject in Zhejiang Province. The department is now led by Prof. Yuzhe WU, as the Head of the department and Prof. Wenze YUE, as the Director of the Institute of Land Science and Real Estate. The department has 21 faculty staffs, including 9 professors, 11 associate professors and 1 lecturer.

In the recent years, the department has made considerable achievements and gained academic reputation. A total 50 national research projects have been completed or are undertaking by the department. The department has won 20 awards which are above the provincial level. In terms of the publication, more than 300 papers in the first-tier academic journals have been published by researchers in the department, many of which have been cited by SCI and SSCI.
